On May 4th 1964, Congress recognized Bourbon Whiskey as a “distinctive product of the United States”, creating Federal Standards of “Identity for Bourbon”. Bourbon must be made of a grain that is at least 51% corn. Bourbon must be distilled to no more than 80% abv and aged in new charred oak barrels. Enjoy a true American creation.
